By doing this, we become more informed and can form better opinions about important topics like war. The First Amendment protects our right to speak out, and dissenting voices are important for a healthy democracy. Even though mainstream media often ignores these voices, alternative media like ANTIWAR.COM and The American Conservative  ensure that important perspectives are heard. It's up to us to seek out these viewpoints and engage with them to better understand the world around us.
